Epi K. Paradox – A Gentle Storm

A Gentle Storm is the second album of Epi K. Paradox, released on vinyl by Trumpetfish Records.

Originally from Chania, Crete, an island in the south of Greece, Epi traded the sun-soaked Mediterranean on September, 2014 to pursue his music career in London, UK. While taking inspiration from the British Blues Explosion of the late 60s and early 70s, on this album Epi K. Paradox presents his own brand of contemporary Blues music, while remaining faithful to the Rhythm & Blues tradition.

Epi’s musical influences on his album’s songs, such as ‘Drifting Away’, reminisce the roaring guitar riffs of Buddy Guy, Mike Bloomfield, Jimmy Page and Roy Buchanan, while his songwriting skills on the powerful slow Blues ballad ‘Living In This World Without You’ reflect on the revival sound of the Blues era.

A Gentle Storm’ is a contemporary Blues Rock album in its own right.
Recorded using a wide range of vintage and analogue equipment at 133 Studio Productions in Athens, GR, by producer Mike Skarakis, the album was finally mastered at VU productions in Athens, GR by mastering engineer Nasos Nomikos.

«A Gentle Storm» is the sixth release from Trumpetfish Records.

The album is released on June 30 on 300 copies limited LP
